2001 - I began breeding Maltese for the love of the breed. My dogs were
purchased directly from Nell Boykin, Owner of Bluefields Kennel in
Wilson, NC - Nell bred Maltese for over 20 years therefore, reaching the
ultimate goal of breeding healthy Maltese and the quality that AKC
recognizes. Our dogs are provided individual dog-runs and doggy
doors that allow them to go in or out freely. They can choose to stay
inside where it's heated/air conditioned or sit
outside in the fresh air.
I begin the weaning of our puppies when they are ready and gradually start introducing dry puppy food that has been moistened and they
attempt to eat it as they are ready. I don't rush this stage and some wean quicker than others but I keep mother with them until I feel all pups are comfortably eating and not nursing. Our puppies have their own little doggy door to go in and our of and be the potty training as early as 7 weeks of age so by the time they are ready to go home, anytime after 12 weeks of age. This puts them one step closer to being potty trained when they go to their new home.
Our
Maltese are AKC Registered and my goal is to breed healthy beautiful
pups that meet AKC Maltese standards. The puppies typically range in
weight as an adult between 4 and 6.5 lbs.
I provide a One Year Written Health Guarantee, Health Record with proof of up to date vaccinations & de-worming, Puppy folder, Health Record, Puppy package: usually containing a bag of Puppy food, treats, chews,
comb, toy, and whitening shampoo.. All puppies are are sold with a limited registration. Papers are released
with proof that the puppy has been spayed or neutered. Puppies go home
at 12 weeks of age depending on each individual puppy.
Puppies are sold in the order that deposits are received.
We will deliver 1/2 way or the entire way
depending on your location. Round trips over an hour will have a fee for the delivery.
